I am Kenneth (Ken) Myers (he/him/his), a Psychotherapist & Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), practicing in New York City, and providing telehealth (video) psychotherapy services to adults ages 18+ across New York State. I am a LGBTQ+ affirming psychotherapist, which means that I strive to ensure that everyone will feel welcome in my practice. My goal as a psychotherapist is to guide you through a process of self-awareness that allows for greater insight about yourself and your emotions. Using a combination of therapeutic interventions that are tailored to your individual needs, we will create a plan for psychotherapy that provides you with both concrete skills development, and insight that will empower you to build a happier and more meaningful life. Making changes in life can be challenging, but I am a supportive psychotherapist who will work with you on your journey. In addition to my role as psychotherapist, I am passionate about working with individuals and organizations that have clinical supervision and/or training & consultation needs. Clinical supervision can be arranged in accordance with New York State Education Department guidelines on Third Party Supervision arrangements. Training & consultation services can be provided to other providers and health care organizations who are seeking to implement LGBTQ+ affirming care practices. In addition, I am certified by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing as an Instructor for the Adult & Youth Mental Health First Aid courses, and would be happy to bring either or both of them to your community or organization. Please contact me via phone for more information about psychotherapy services, including requests for a free 15-minute consultation. For clinical supervision and/or training or consultation inquiries, please contact me via phone or email.
