Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. I received my Master’s of Science in Mental Health Clinical Counseling from Northern Kentucky University (2020) and Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Cincinnati Christian University (2018). I believe in utilizing therapy as an opportunity to assist individuals, couples, and families in acknowledging and overcoming barriers to healing and change. I create an authentic, collaborative and non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients are able to address areas in life that aren't working (anxiety, anger, depression, low self-esteem, relationships, painful experiences); to explore and resolve the internal and relational barriers that limits healing and personal growth; and to create an action plan that empowers clients to live out their full potential. I work with all ages and stages of life and operate from a person-centered, strength-based, trauma informed, systemic, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) perspective. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy. EMDR Therapy is designed to relieve the pain of past hurts and trauma; increase one’s ability to better handle current situations; and reduce stress related to future expectations. I have received training in Biblical counseling and am able to incorporate faith into counseling for clients that desire to do so, and is, of course, not required for those who do not desire to do so. I tailor my treatment approach with client’s based on their needs and desires. I enjoy assisting individuals in their search for identity and purpose; helping individuals, couples and families improve their communication, intimacy, and relationships; and supporting clients in pursuing their goals. I counsel a wide variety of treatment issues including anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment disorders, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, spiritual concerns, self esteem issues, grief, personality disorders, sexual concerns or abuse, OCD, and mood disorders. My intention is to inspire hope and growth, develop wholeness, and empower others to live an abundant and authentic life. I use my gifts of compassion, insight, discernment, and engagement to bring about healing and restoration to the broken hearted and encourage a process of positive change in the lives of individuals, couples, and families. I deeply value creating a safe environment and aim to build a relationship of trust while assisting clients in reaching personal insight. My ultimate goal is to assist clients through healing and growth. I am prepared to accept anyone who walks into my office!
