Introduction

True growth and healing happen in the most uncomfortable spaces at times. However, you do not have to wait until you are in the eye of a storm to seek counseling services. Embarking on the therapeutic journey is an important life decision and finding a therapist whose expertise fits your needs is just as vital. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we work to assist clients with achieving goals by cultivating self-awareness, identifying personal strengths, and gaining new perspectives. We wholeheartedly believe that people are influenced by their past experiences; however, they do not determine our future. Our clinical vision is the center of our practice and allows us to support clients through their personal therapy journeys. Each of us has the inner wisdom to overcome hardships, and we are here to help guide you in finding your voice. In therapy we will work together to develop awareness of how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors affect one another, build skills to handle difficult emotions and make behavior change, and practice these skills in a variety of situations so you may be able to support yourself moving forward. Kendra, our CEO, is a National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional based in Atlanta GA. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, and complex trauma. She has a passion for working with clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, complex trauma, career/life transitions, PTSD, and depression. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Georgia and MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University.
