Most of us have experienced feelings of anxiety, stress, sadness, or loss. All emotions are valuable, and feelings are meant to be felt, but when certain feelings are prolonged and difficult to regulate, we suffer unhelpful distress. My main goal is to provide a safe space and help you get to the root of this distress so you can start to heal. Unfortunately, we can get stuck in negative patterns that impact our joy, relationships, and ability to function as our best selves. Distress can be rooted in fear, guilt, loneliness, disappointment, anger, resentment, and dissatisfaction. My approach to healing is collaborative, strengths-based, and client-centered. We’ll move at your pace toward the goals that are important to you. Warmth, empathy, and listening without judgment are the values I bring to every session. I engage in my own work through ongoing personal therapy, supervision, and training.
