Introduction

As Whoopie Goldberg says, "Normal is nothing more than a cycle on a washing machine." Being human is messy and complex; realizing this can help ease the harsh self-criticism that interferes with really getting to know ourselves. You may be struggling with relationships, emotional distress, depression, anxiety, trauma or significant life transitions, whatever it may be, it has meaning. I work with adults and adolescents desiring to deepen their self-understanding so they can gain clarity, grow, and thrive despite life's challenges. Each person's subconscious mind and relational history form a unique internal map designed to help them navigate their world. Our work together would involve exploring this map with curiosity and openness, creating opportunities to forge new pathways so you no longer feel trapped in frustrating patterns that hold you back. I offer talk therapy in Ballard and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy at a ranch in Smokey Point. Working with horses provides a powerful experiential process, particularly beneficial if you've experienced trauma or seek a more somatic approach. Whether in the office or at the ranch, together we can cultivate the clarity and compassion needed to move forward.
