Introduction

CURRENTLY ONLY ACCEPTING ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION CLIENTS. My name is Kelsey and I am a clinical psychologist working in Albany, OH. I completed my B.A. in Psychology at Kenyon College in 2010 and my Doctorate of Psychology at Marshall University in 2015. I have experience providing therapy and conducting psychological assessments for a wide variety of clients. I know that life can be a challenge and that, sometimes, we all need someone to help us get "unstuck." I would be honored to support you as you face life's obstacles and find ways to adapt. I am passionate about providing collaborative and supportive services tailored to your needs. All appointments are remote/online currently. NOW ACCEPTING AETNA, CIGNA, UNITED HEALTHCARE, OPTUM, OXFORD, and OSCAR HEALTH insurance plans. Services: Psychological Assessment: This type of assessment involves a full, formal testing battery which may include an intelligence test, an in-depth memory test, or other comprehensive exams. Often these types of assessments are preferred for concerns such as ADHD, learning disabilities, and cognitive impairment. These assessments may take several hours/multiple sessions depending on the information being gathered. A clinical interview is conducted followed by administration of the appropriate tests. Psychodiagnostic Evaluation: This type of evaluation is primarily interview-based. I will gather in-depth information about your history and symptoms in order to explore and/or confirm a diagnosis. Generally, these evaluations are preferred when the question is regarding mood or trauma-related diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, etc. These evaluations generally involve an hour-long interview and possibly some small screeners (short, self-report forms related to symptoms). Individual Therapy: Individual therapy involves 45-60 minute sessions with my clients. Typically, sessions occur weekly or bi-weekly though this may vary depending on your schedule and/or your clinical needs.
