Introduction

I became a psychologist because I believe in the power of genuine connection and see authentic relationships as integral to health and healing. I value addressing how past experiences, family dynamics and cultural influences contribute to belief systems, identities and behavioral patterns that may be causing distress in relationships and inhibiting personal growth. My approach in therapy centers on addressing the limitations my patients experience to living their lives to the fullest, untethered, yet grounded in a steady sense of self. I also see neuro/psychological testing as a tool to better understand individual’s phenomenological experience, to provide clarification of personal strengths and struggles and to guide growth by offering education, skills and resources. I have 12 years of experience providing individual, group, family therapy and psychological assessment in a variety of settings including a correctional facility, brain injury clinics, a state hospital, a neuropsychological testing outpatient clinic, a residential treatment program, and a pediatric primary care clinic. Now in my own private practice, I am working with pre-teens, adolescents and adults offering individual, family, group therapy and psychological testing and evaluations. Outside of being a psychologist, I am a mom of two beautiful, wild, courageous little girls and a devoted wife, friend and partner to my husband. We enjoy taking advantage of all the outdoors has to offer and soaking up precious moments of unapologetic joy and laughter as often as we can. The power of the elements and living authentically connected has always been a source of centeredness and healing for me. I value inspiring others to find what that may be for them.
