Kelly is a graduate intern completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling through Liberty University, accredited through the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). She is under the supervision of Allie Sauls, MA, LPC-S. Kelly has a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University. She uses her teaching background of 8 years in public education when working with children, adolescents, and their families. Kelly is passionate about helping individuals of all ages who are dealing with anxiety, depression, infertility, grief, stress, trauma, life transitions, and relationship issues. Kelly provides a safe and non-judgmental space as she comes alongside her clients on their journey toward healing, wholeness, freedom, and change. She takes a collaborative approach with her clients and implements cognitive behavioral therapy to help her clients achieve their goals. She believes that past experiences alter the way we think and respond to stressors and challenges. Kelly views change as a process that involves replacing irrational or unhelpful beliefs with rational or more helpful ways of thinking. Kelly can also incorporate faith into therapy if desired.
