Introduction

Teen struggling with anxiety or depression? Child with big, uncontrollable feelings? Are the parenting tips on social media not helping? Understanding the complexities children and adolescence face drives my passion as a therapist. In my office, children and teens can come as they are and be fully themselves. I use Play Therapy to engage children, creating a space for growth.I incorporate TheraPlay to support families in fostering connections and building resilient bonds. No matter the age, littles, teens or adults, my approach is rooted in genuine connection,aiming to build trust and understanding in every therapeutic relationship. Taking the step toward therapy is courageous. I understand it can be daunting, but I'm here to support you. Kelly Shaw has her bachelors degree in Psychology from Rockhurst University and her masters degree in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Kelly also has her certificate in Play Therapy from MidAmerica Nazarene University and has Level One TheraPlay training from The TheraPlay Institute. Kelly is a PLPC supervised by Ashley Cross, LPC.
