Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who offers in-person talk therapy and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). She also offers virtual sessions to California residents. She specializes in working with teens, parents, families and young adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, challenges with communication, self-esteem, work and school stress, life transitions, and relationships. Kelly works collaboratively with clients to explore how past experiences may be influencing your present. She helps to provide education about habits that improve mental health and challenge negative thought patterns. Kelly provides honest and compassionate feedback to gently hold clients accountable while also celebrating progress, and providing encouragement when clients feel stuck. She teaches emotional intelligence, meaning how to identify your emotions and then how to use techniques for calming your body. She feels that effective communication skills are essential to healthy relationships. She believes that cultivating a loving relationships from within helps to translate into loving relationships with others. This also come from learning how to repair relationships after conflict. PAYMENT AND INSURANCE Kelly is an out-of-network provider, which means that a superbill (receipt of your payment) will be provided for the client to submit to insurance for reimbursement. Preferred Provider Organization plans (PPO's) or Out Of Network (OON) benefits allow you to receive full or partial reimbursement (which many times is 40-80%). Please contact your insurance for more information. Health Spending Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can also be used for payment. If you don't yet have an HSA/FSA but know you will seek therapy, sign up at your next open enrollment- it's a great pre-tax benefit! She also offers a sliding scale and Care Credit (a no-interest if paid in full credit card), which provides clients numbers options for accessible therapy. ABOUT KELLY Kelly has 12 years of professional experience and personal experience as a wife and mother of two energetic boys. The last 6 years have been spent working for an inpatient psychiatric unit for teens and adults experiencing severe mood and behavioral challenges, family conflict, trauma, and psychosis. She is deeply devoting to helping teens and young adults grow into adulthood with confidence and resilience. She is passionate about helping couples continue to love each other through the rollercoaster of parenting. In her free time she enjoys being with family, being outside, practicing yoga, and reading books.
