I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with two master’s degrees—one in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University and one in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Treatment of Addiction Disorders from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I honorably served four years in the United States Marine Corps as an administrative legal clerk. I have experience working with teens and adults who struggle with addiction, anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, trauma-related stress disorders, managing stress and life transitions, and female empowerment. I am also passionate about working with military personnel, veterans, and first responders. I support clients who are interested in developing inner strength, creating space for mindfulness, finding self-awareness, and building confidence to reach their full potential. We will collaborate on techniques and treatment goals that allow you the freedom to begin the healing process and integrate mind, body, spirit, wellness, and recovery. I work from a client-centered and strength-based approach and utilize holistic and integrated therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I believe each person has a unique imprint in this world. The goal of a therapist is to create a safe therapeutic environment that has a foundation of trust, mutual respect, understanding, and empathy. I provide an accepting and compassionate space and facilitate autonomy to help clients recognize their inner strengths, begin to heal from past traumas, and improve their overall quality of life.
