After losing my mother to addiction in 2005, I got sober. Her death woke me up to the reality that my life was headed nowhere. I knew I had to learn to love myself—flaws and all—so that I could show up in my relationships and live my life on purpose. Literally everything changed when I started connecting to people who understood me and could support me through recovery. My life transformed through connection—and I want to help you do the same. I thrive on helping individuals and families. If you want help in working through your trauma, managing anxiety or perfectionism issues or are having difficulties with your relationships, I can walk you through it. If your family member is struggling with addiction related issues, maybe you need direction in helping your loved one get treatment. Or maybe want help in setting boundaries with your family member who is actively using. Maybe you just need support to know you’re not alone, and that YES, it is really hard to love someone who is using.
