Introduction

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the field of social services, I've enjoyed working with people from all age groups and a diversity of backgrounds. Having grown up mixed race and between two continents & cultures, I appreciate and value both western and non-western therapeutic approaches to healing. In addition to obtaining my Master's Degree in Social Work, I've completed post-graduate trainings in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and integrative trauma. I apply these frameworks in helping clients understand the impact of earlier life experiences on current relationships and responses to stress. I work with adults with depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders with a focus on the LGBTQIA+ community.
