As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of clinical experience, I've enjoyed working with people from all age groups and a diversity of backgrounds. Having grown up mixed race and between two continents and cultures, I appreciate and value both western and non-western therapeutic approaches to wellness. In addition to obtaining my Master's Degree in Social Work, I've completed post-graduate trainings in psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, integrative trauma, and EMDR. As a psychotherapist, I apply these frameworks in helping clients understand the impact of earlier life experiences on current relationships and responses to stress. I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety and adjustment disorders with a focus on the LGBTQIA+ community.
