My passion is helping clients strengthen and nurture their most important relationship: the one with themselves. I want you to know and like yourself so that you may foster deeper and more meaningful relationships with those who are important to you and, ultimately, lead a more fulfilling life. I describe my approach as eclectic drawing from a variety of evidence based treatment modalities and tailored to each client's specific needs. I typically use elements of person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and dialectal behavioral therapy as a guide for my sessions with each client. During our time together I hope you feel understood, cared for and respectfully challenged. I describe my interpersonal approach as: calm, real, and occasionally kind of funny. I aspire to create an honest, strong relationship with my clients so that you may freely explore the impact of early relationships, process and heal trauma, foster self-compassion, build resilience, and learn to trust your gut!
