Introduction

I was born and grew up in Japan. Throughout my childhood, my family hosted international students in their home from all over the world. My upbringing fostered a joy for connecting with people from all cultures and a curiosity about each life. I have a passion for helping people heal from past traumas and finding peace and connection in their lives. I have trained in a number of modalities, including EMDR, to work with many different types of struggles that come from the painful events that happen in life. I will meet you in these difficult places and we will walk together, helping you break through to find hope, power, connection and energy. In the session, we will take a multifaceted approach that works for you and I will work to understand you, as well as your family structure, culture, and environment in which you grew up. There may be anxiety or hesitation about what counseling is all about. That is common. If you have any questions or wishes regarding counseling, I will be happy to provide a free consultation for 20 minutes. Feeling safe is important so remember I will keep our conversations confidential. I look forward to hearing from you and walking with you on life's journey.
