I am an independently licensed mental health practitioner with experience in pediatric, teen and adult populations in hospital, clinic, and outpatient settings. I worked at Children's Hospital and Medical Center in both the Eating Disorders Program and Behavioral Health providing mental health services for the last 10 years. Areas of passion include eating disorders, body image disorders, depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and adjustment disorders. I attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha where I received both my bachelor's and master's degrees in Social Work. I completed basic EMDR Trauma training in 2021. I am currently on the Board of Directors for the Kirsten Haglund Foundation. The Mission of the Kirsten Haglund Foundation (KHF) is to provide hope, networking, and financial aid to those seeking treatment and freedom from eating disorders. As someone who struggled with an eating disorder for 16 years, it is my passion to assist others in finding complete freedom from eating and body image disorders; just as I have. There is no greater representation of beauty then we are fully and authentically ourselves.
