Introduction

Clients deserve to have a safe space to discover options for their healing journey. Clients, regardless of needs and goals all have one thing in common; grief. The idea of losing someone, something, or a unexpected change in life brings upon the grieving process. It is not expected that everyone suffers alone and in silence; this is only the goal of stigma. Bring all of the hurt, guilt, shame, desperation, and pain to the safe space of therapy and use it as a stepping stone on your own carved path to overall health and wellness in mind, body, and spirit. With over seven years of experience in the social work and human service field, I offer an opportunity to discover effective approaches in meeting the complex needs of various populations. No client is the same, nor should they be treated as such. It is important to identify what the client desires as goals and utilize specific approaches that are customized. I invite you to think about your own needs and how maybe they’ve been neglected, or your mental health needs have been stigmatized, and begin to weigh the importance of your own quality of life and what might need to be altered in order to obtain wellness. Is it worth this vicious cycle of self-depreciation and value? If not, lets start this journey together.
