Introduction
I am a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland, Rhode Island and New Jersey and a licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor in Rhode Island and New Jersey. I graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University in May 2014. At the same time, I also completed the Addiction Counseling Training program that was offered at Rutgers. My passion is working with individuals who are affected by their partner’s or family member’s mental health disorder and/or an addiction. I have training, skills and experience in working with those who are suffering from addiction disorders and my main practice focus is with individuals affected by someone's addiction or disorder. One of my skills is the ease with which I establish a rapport with clients. Clients find it easy to speak with me and I share with them my compassion and care for their well-being. This enables me to successfully encourage them to strive for a healthy and balanced life style. I use a combination of methods in my treatment of clients including IFS and CBT informed practices. I am genuine and honest with everyone with whom I interact. I am able to multi-task and effectively fulfill the different responsibilities that I retain in my capacity as a successful social worker.
