My name is Kayla, and I am in the business of giving people confidence, hope, and ultimately a happier life. I work to empower individuals and stand with them through the discomfort that is change. I have spent years working with survivors of all types of trauma, focusing on childhood concerns and challenging upbringings. I graduated with an advanced degree in clinical psychology from Centenary University, where I concentrated on CBT, TF-CBT, DBT and attachment theory. My clients have a variety of difficulties, ranging from severe bipolar disorder to mild depression and anxiety. Sometimes though, folks who come see me don't have a specific disorder. Instead, life has simply become stressful enough that it is difficult to manage. These individuals struggle to feel motivated, feel joy less and less often, and need help navigating change. Clients like this just need the world to pause for a moment while they regroup and figure it out. If you can relate, reach out to me. You don't have to do it alone anymore.
