Introduction

Has life been really challenging recently? Do you feel like you are barely keeping your head above water? Are you feeling that it is time to prioritize your mental health for overall wellness? My goal as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor is to assist you on your path to wellness. I have a passion for learning about and helping others, which was my purpose in pursuing the mental health field. Since entering the field, I have worked with individuals of all ages dealing with varying mental and behavioral health concerns. Areas of expertise include trauma-informed practices for adolescents and adults dealing with issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem and interpersonal difficulties. Life has many peaks and valleys and my goal with each client is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment to help them through the process of healing. I also have a passion for functional medicine and using an integrative approach in therapy as I understand the need to have a healthy body in order to have a healthy mind. I have experience working with teens and adults in residential and acute treatment and private practice. I am passionate about helping individuals from all walks of life on their journey through life. I have pursued extensive post-graduate training including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and am a Certified Integrative Medicine Professional (CIMHP). I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I offer teletherapy services for Florida clients due to being stationed in North Carolina as an Army spouse presently. Fun Stuff: I have lived in Florida since I was a child and proudly call the Gulf Coast my home. I am an Army wife currently stationed at Fort Bragg, NC and have a passion for the challenges that military families face. I have 5 fur babies and love being outdoors where I can spend time with my pups. I am an alum of The University of Alabama and love Alabama football, elephants and anything houndstooth!
