Introduction

Hi! I'm Katy Tarella, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker focusing on evidence based treatments to treat a wide range of symptoms and diagnoses. If you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, hopeless or stuck, it is my passion and interest to help my clients work through this. When we work together in your therapy, we will identify what behaviors and stuck ways of thinking are getting in your way, and identify your goals, your values and your "why" for prioritizing yourself and getting the help you deserve. My specialty is DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), which focuses on building skills that help you manage intense emotions, get out of self-destructive patterns, and work on important relationships in your life. Additionally, I use CPT (cognitive processing therapy) in the treatment of trauma in a contained and safe way. You don't need to continue living your life in emotional pain and suffering. We all deserve to feel connected and present, to find our life worth living, and to find our tribe.
