Introduction

Hi! I am Katy Pacino and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. My pronouns are they/them and she/her. From the beginning of my journey as a therapist I have been passionate about working with couples and the LGBTQIA+ community. Social Locations: I am a white, autistic, queer, nonbinary-woman, and spiritual. Within these social locations I understand that my experiences may vary from other neurodivergent, nonbinary/trans, queer, and spiritual humans. I offer therapy with openness to each person's individual experience. I have a long history providing culturally sensitive and affirming therapeutic care to Sex Workers and Polyamorous/Ethical Non-monogamous and Kink community members. I am passionate about providing specialized care to LGBTQIA+ community members. I welcome and encourage conversations regarding the privilege and power dynamics that I hold within a therapeutic setting. I believe in building a therapeutic relationship around your needs and that each person's experience is unique to them, therefore I desire to include my clients in the process of treatment planning. You are the expert of your life and experience and I am honored that you are considering welcoming me into your journey. FAQs: What clientele do you work with? At this time I provide therapy exclusively to adults. I work with individuals and couples/two or more partners focusing on a range of clinical issues including but not limited to depression, infidelity, sexual orientation and gender exploration, various sexual concerns, low self esteem, life transitions, and relationship issues. Are you meeting in person? I am exclusively offering video therapy at this time and only able to provide services to individuals in the state of California. Do you accept insurance? I do not accept insurance, but I can offer a superbill. If you are hoping to use insurance, please contact your insurance provider & ask about your Out of Network plan to determine if you are eligible to receive reimbursement for services. BOOKING: Please see below for information regarding my therapy fees. Prior to booking an appointment and beginning any therapeutic relationship I would like to complete a free 10-15 minute phone consultation with you to talk a little bit more about what you’re hoping to work on in therapy, give you details about my practice, discuss scheduling and fee, and to see if we’re a good fit. To do so, please use the contact icon at the top of the page so we can schedule a time to talk on the phone. If you call, please leave a voice message. I cannot guarantee the encryption or security of e-mail, therefore please take caution in what you provide in the initial e-mail.
