Introduction

I believe that every person has a birthright to health, and I consider it my privilege to help you find the path to your own definition of health and wellness, while providing a safe, non-judgemental environment to explore, process, and heal. My emphasis is on building a trusting, safe, and authentic relationship as a foundation for growth, as it is my belief that we find growth and healing in relationship with others. I will work with you in understanding your patterns and freeing yourself from the behaviors, thoughts, and beliefs that are no longer serving you, while considering the various systems that have impacted you and various aspects of culture and identity that intersect and interact with your environment. I use an integrated multicultural, anti-oppression, feminist, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach that draws from Existential Humanism, Jungian theory, Family Systems theory, Attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness. I work with individual adults, with specialized training in disability and chronic illness. My areas of interest include healing through breath and movement, meditation, inner child work, herbalism, plant and nature therapy, tarot and astrology, and spirituality, including working with the Chakra system. In working with you, I hope to build an egalitarian, empowering alliance that centers your personally defined goals, while facilitating the unfolding of your own inherent wisdom.
