Introduction

In my time working as a therapist, I have sat across from some of the most incredible individuals. I’ve watched them over the years grow and fall back and suffer and heal. It’s remarkable to me that the breadth of the human experience can be so full of agony and joy and indifference. To be a part of their journey, to sit with them through the pain, to hold space for all they bring in, is truly an honor. Not everyone is worthy of that kind of vulnerability and I am forever grateful to those who have shown up raw and unfiltered. My love for others and ability to hold space for whatever they bring is wide. I always show up authentically. I’m not some faceless shrink behind a clipboard. I’m just me, Katrina, sitting with you as you go through life. I’m patient and educated. But not so educated that I think your experience should be predictable from some book, though I am constantly reading and learning so I can provide you with a variety of options. Ultimately, you know what you need. And when you don’t, I can provide you with knowledge about what I’ve seen, read, and simply think just from knowing you. Truly knowing you... as an individual.
