I believe that every person has the power to change their current situation for the better, no matter what obstacles they may be facing. My goal is to collaborate with each person, as each individual is the expert in their own life, to help them develop healthy coping strategies, learn new skills, gain insight, and find purpose and meaning in their life. Therapy is a place to create hope that things can get better, to empower change, and encourage healing. I have extensive experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families that have experienced severe trauma (physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect), grief and loss, individuals with mental health diagnoses, conflict resolution, stress (personal and work), and behavioral issues. My primary approach is using evidence-based practices including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-based, and Solution Focused techniques to help you live the life you deserve!
