Katie’s ambition is to offer a variety of evidence based interventions to address your individual needs. She has found that the most important aspect of the counseling process is often the relationship she establishes with her client, with the goal of providing them with the skills to decrease the need for ongoing therapy support. Katie has a special interest in helping individuals to resolve trauma and build resilience. Katie is trained in diagnostic assessments and therapeutic services, with experience ranging from anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder/trauma to behavioral disorders, and anger. Katie is highly experienced in the use of clinical interventions such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
