Hello! My name is Katie Hummel, Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern and the founder of The Image of You Counseling, LLC, located in St. Petersburg, FL. The name of my practice, The Image of You Counseling, reflects the idea of discovering your authentic self. Whether you are in a relationship or single, dealing with depression or an anxiety disorder, it's common to feel lost in the negative thoughts in our minds that tell us we're not good enough or worthy. If you find yourself looking in the mirror every day and wondering, "Who am I? What happened to me? What's my purpose in life?", "Is this relationship going to work?" or "Will I ever get better", you likely feel disconnected and are just getting by or settling. You might believe that something or someone is holding you back from the adventures you want to pursue, or you could be struggling with a mental health condition that's controlling your every move. But you don't have to continue living that way. You can find inner peace, thrive, and take charge of your own life. You can learn to be true to yourself without fear of others' opinions or reactions.
