Introduction

Welcome to The Image of You Counseling, LLC. My name is Katie Hummel, Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern, Founder, and Owner of the practice. I get that finding the perfect therapeutic match can be challenging, and I admire you for taking this important step toward achieving peace of mind. If you've been looking for a down-to-earth, candid, and dedicated therapist, then you are in the right place. My goal is to provide a safe, empathetic, and authentic environment where my clients can embark on their healing journey. I specialize in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety, as well as supporting couples and families in reconnecting or finding healthy ways to let go. Additionally, I work with highly sensitive persons (HSPs) and individuals struggling with self-esteem and abandonment issues. My Therapeutic Approach: Combining Evidence-Based Techniques with Personal Connection I'm highly trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My approach merges evidence-based behavioral therapies with the personal connection and insight from talk therapy, ensuring that your journey has purpose, meaning, and empowerment. I aim to create a therapeutic space where healing is not only possible but inevitable. Before becoming a full-time therapist, I spent a decade working with individuals grappling with severe mental illness and addiction.
