Introduction

You’ve been feeling overwhelmed. Your thoughts just feel out of control and disruptive to your life. Sometimes you feel defeated and unmotivated because everyday tasks seem like too much to handle. You have started to wonder if it will ever get better. You can recognize that there are factors in your past that have probably contributed to the way you feel now. Or maybe this just came completely out of the blue for you. Either way, you are struggling to make sense of it. You know that this isn’t the way you want to feel and you’re done trying to figure out how to make it better on your own. I have two main areas of specialty: working with adults experiencing the fallout from growing up in a dysfunctional family, and working with individuals and families who are struggling with the changes that can come with pregnancy and building a family. I have lots of experience and am comfortable working with people with depression, anxiety and PTSD. I’m here to listen closely to you while you tell me about what you've been going through. I will help you to figure out how things got to be so hard for you and, most importantly, I will collaborate with you to find the tools you need to get back on track. It’s my top priority to help you feel at ease as we get to know each other.
