All of us face daily challenges that can easily become overwhelming. Anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transitions, new diagnoses, and relationship issues are just a few of the concerns that can overwhelm us. Many of us were never really taught the skills to cope with these concerns successfully. Or sometimes we have coped successfully with our struggles in the past but our current concern has caused us to hit our breaking point and we aren’t sure how to move forward. We will work together to address your concerns and find solutions to your problems. You will guide your own treatment and define what "better" means to you. You will share your story with me so that we can identify patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be contributing to your distress. I will then teach you tangible skills that can help you manage the stresses of every day life. A little bit about me: I am a clinical social worker (LMSW-Clinical) in the State of Michigan. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2012 with my Master’s of Social Work Degree after completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in 2009. I believe that therapy works and that you have the potential to change your own life. Please contact me today for a free consult to determine if I could be the right therapist for you. I look forward to speaking with you!
