Introduction
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY: Carl Rogers once said, “It is only when I accept myself exactly as I am that I begin to change.” For ten years I've helped children and adults turn around and find themselves again. We work through anxiety, depression, traumatic stress and the “normal” transitions of life. We stop fighting our emotions and accept the job they have to do. We peel away beliefs like, “I’m not enough, I can’t do it.” From that new space of acceptance, I help my clients rebuild internal foundations that tend to their mental health and engagement with the world. FAMILY THERAPY: I specialize in partnering with families to navigate the complexities of growing up together. I use process facilitation, humor, and evidence-based clinical strategies in my family sessions. In short, I help parents and children start talking and listening to each other again. We simply function better when we know our families have our backs! SUPERVISION/TRAININGS: My practice offers clinical supervision for pre-licensure therapists. I also provide organizational training opportunities that cover a variety of topics, including child and adolescent mental health, workplace traumatic stress, and suicide prevention.
