I’m Kathy Pettengill, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. After working across various agencies, I’m now fortunate to offer my services through my own private practice. I work with individuals and families of all ages to process difficult emotions, improve communication, and strengthen relationships. I support clients through significant life changes, grief (including ambiguous grief), divorce, career transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, and women’s health concerns. By providing tools and strategies, I help clients navigate these challenges with resilience, confidence, and effective coping skills. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I’m dedicated to tailoring my approach to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to empower you to overcome obstacles, deepen connections, and find peace and fulfillment in your life. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to providing a supportive and compassionate space for healing. I have completed postgraduate training in Child-Centered Play Therapy and am continually pursuing continuing education to broaden and deepen my ability to support clients with diverse therapeutic needs. In my practice, I respect and honor the diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and values of all individuals. I welcome clients from all faiths and spiritual traditions, ensuring that therapy remains a safe space where your beliefs are respected and incorporated into our work together. If you’re looking for a compassionate therapist to support you on your journey, I’d be honored to work with you. I currently have openings for new clients and invite you to reach out to schedule an appointment.
