Introduction

I am passionate about building meaningful relationships by providing an authentic and empathetic approach to counseling. My work focuses on helping individuals navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and cancer. Trained in multiple modalities, including client-centered therapy, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), allows me to provide personalized care to my clients. I have a diverse background, with experience in mental health settings, academia, faith-based ministries, and non-profit organizations, along with a season of full-time parenting. As a breast cancer survivor, I’ve gained strength and resilience in facing life’s challenges, and I am honored to walk alongside others through their own struggles. I view each person through the lens of my faith, believing that everyone is unique, worthy of love and respect. Raised in a Taiwanese immigrant family, I grew up balancing 2 cultures and observed my parents pursue the American Dream. From working with at-risk youth to living in Spain, and now parenting my college-aged and teen children, I have gained wisdom and humility from these experiences. Life is messy, but there is hope - it's my privilege to journey with you!
