As an intuitive and empathetic listener, I am passionate about building relationships. Three words that describe my therapeutic style are compassionate, authentic, and insightful. My client-centered approach provides a safe space for self-discovery so you can become the best version of you! I have experience working in mental health settings, academia, faith-based ministries, and non-profit organizations, all interwoven with a break for a season of full time parenting. My experience includes working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, parenting, ADHD, relationships, and multicultural issues. I grew up in a Taiwanese immigrant family, shifting between 2 cultures while witnessing my parents strive for the American Dream. From working with at-risk youth in NYC, to living in Spain, to parenting my college-aged and teen kids, I’ve experienced much and love hearing people from all walks of life tell their stories. As a breast cancer survivor, I have new-found courage to face hard issues and walk alongside others facing life’s challenges. My faith is the lens through which I see people, each unique in their God-given abilities, worthy of love and respect.
