Over my years of experience, I have served adults 45 years and older with a wide range of challenges including substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, stress, chronic illnesses, end-of-life issues, caregiver fatigue, life-transitions, relationship issues, career challenges, and grief and loss. One of my main specialties is pet loss grief support. Additionally, when I lived in the state of North Carolina I held a LCAS license (the equivalent of a CADC-III in Oregon). This training makes me a great match for people who wish to explore their use of alcohol, cannabis, or other drugs, or are in a program of Recovery. My therapy style is warm, interactive, person-centered, and strengths-centered. I start with authenticity, cultural humility, sensitivity, compassion, and collaboration. My approach combines CBT, DBT, person-centered therapy, mindfulness therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, positive psychology, and integrative/holistic therapy. It's never too late for new beginnings. Please reach out for more information.
