Kathryn West is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from LeTourneau University and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and School Counseling from LeTourneau University. In addition, Kathryn is a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Practitioner through the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University. Kathryn’s clinical experience includes working with individuals who have suffered various forms of trauma, depression and anxiety, and exhibit behavioral issues impacting family dynamics and/or academic achievement. Kathryn utilizes strong relationships centered on nurture and trust between the child and family to help the child reach their highest potential. Kathryn believes in addressing the child as a whole to ensure positive, lasting change. Kathryn is now trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is accepting clients ages 4 and up. Kathryn sees all individuals across the life span.
