Introduction

Welcome! The OCRD Practice was born out of my desire to work with individuals ages 18+ that suffer from OCD and Related Disorders (OCRD). Individual therapy sessions are conducted via telehealth, making treatment convenient for you. The OCRD Practice is based in Pennsylvania, meaning that we can accept patients living anywhere in the state. OCD requires creative approaches to treatment and a good understanding of how to properly challenge intrusive thoughts. Seeking treatment for these types of disorders can be intimidating, which is why it is important for individuals with OCD or a related disorder to work with therapists that specialize in these diagnoses. Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the most effective treatment for OCD, and is the primary treatment modality used at The OCRD Practice. If you are new to an OCRD diagnosis, IOCDF.org can be a helpful place to learn more about the nature of these disorders and the evidence based treatment for them.
