I specialize in supporting adults as they navigate the emotional challenges of grief, loss, and life transitions. Through a combination of evidence-based techniques and personalized support, I help clients find meaning and resilience during difficult times of loss, change, and uncertainty. I began my Social Work career as a hospice social worker right after graduate school, drawn to the deep emotional and spiritual work that happens at the end of life. Sitting with individuals and families during such vulnerable times taught me so much about grief, love, meaning, and what it means to truly be present with someone. Over time, I felt called to expand my work beyond hospice — to walk those who are navigating loss, life transitions, and questions of identity and purpose. My own life experiences have shaped me just as much as my training has, and I bring that perspective into every session. I’ve learned that healing often begins when we feel seen, and that it’s never too late to grow or find peace. In my experience, successful therapy is built on a foundation of trust and respect. Clients can expect to be met with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine interest in who they are — not just what they’re struggling with. I provide a space where people feel safe to speak freely, explore difficult emotions, and reflect without judgment. Therapy with me is a collaborative process; together, we make sense of your experiences, identify what’s getting in the way, and work toward relief from distressing symptoms like anxiety, sadness, or uncertainty. Over time, many clients find not only greater emotional ease, but also deeper clarity, self-compassion, and renewed purpose in their lives. I see learning as a lifelong process, and my work as a therapist continues to evolve through experience, curiosity, and reflection. I regularly attend workshops, stay current with research, and stay connected to a community of thoughtful clinicians who challenge and inspire me. I also learn a great deal from my clients — their honesty and resilience deepen my understanding of what it means to support people through change. Each person I work with brings something new, and that keeps me engaged and always growing.
