Introduction

I have spent years supporting other helpers and care givers, many of whom have needed gentle, and sometimes direct, reminders to care for themselves. Whether you identify as a first responder, helper, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, rural or city dweller, gamer, athlete, or a combination of all, the support provided comes down to your individual experience with distress, coping and thriving skills, relationships and areas of growth. I am here to help you use that individual experience to explore and initiate next steps in your adventure towards a healthy, happy and safe life. I use evidenced based approaches, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), for when talking feels too much, CBT, and mindfulness practices. These are integrated to treat adverse trauma responses, navigate life, reduce anxiety, increase sense of self, improve connections with loved ones, increase confidence in wanted change, and more. I use sarcasm, nature, movement, humor, kindness, and obscure pop culture references to aid in the journey.
