My approach is individualized and based on what each client needs at that given time, which can vary from being supportive to being quite direct and active. Through this interaction, clients can move toward better relationships, more positive emotion, and a more authentic sense of self and being. A bit about me: I graduated with a doctorate in clinical psychology in 2017 from Roosevelt University. My training was steeped in psychodynamics, with foci on implicit bias, relational interactions, and social psychology. I am also licensed in evaluation and diagnostic testing, to which I take a therapeutic evidence-based approach as well. I am a cis-gender woman, and use she/her pronouns. NOTE: This is a safe space for those who identify as LGBTQIA+. As well, any and all cultural and religious (and non-religious) backgrounds are welcome.
