Introduction

Psychotherapy has the greatest impact when it is collaborative and interactive, and much (if not all) of what traumatizes us is related to other humans. Therefore, the interpersonal connection with one's (presumably, human) therapist is essential to healing! I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, empowering environment where, together, we can explore, process & tackle the elements of life that challenge you. Whether you seek to examine a specific issue, or to improve your overall quality & enjoyment of life, we will build a space together where you can confront & overcome the obstacles you seek to resolve. I am very passionate about the power of somatic work (integrating the mind and body/nervous system) in the therapeutic process. We can get so disconnected from out body when we're activated but the body gives us SO much information about what is happening for us in any given moment. I find that somatic work deepens one's ability to process experiences & provides an ever-present tool for self-care & stress management. I also supervise a wonderful group of associate (pre-licensed) clinicians.
