Hello, I'm Kathy. I believe people seek therapy for lots of different reasons. I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist who sees clients whom are impacted by anxiety, depression and trauma. Working with parents of children with disabilities is my passion. As a mom to two nuerodiverse children, I recognize the need for parents to feel supported through stages of parenting that can also include grief, overwhelm, sadness and frustration. Being a parent is a hard job, and being a parent to a child who requires more support feels even harder sometimes. I received my master's of science in psychology at Southern Methodist University. I worked for many years in the public education sector before committing to full-time work in the mental health field.
