I understand the power of therapy through my personal experience, on both sides of the couch. Prior to moving to Pensacola in 2006 I was in Texas where I worked with children, adults and seniors as I began my Licensed Mental Health Counselor journey. Living in Pensacola allowed me to be closer to my parents while growing my own family. Pensacola is where I have found my greatest joy and most profound losses. However, I stay because I love the life I have created. Telling your story to a therapist is healing in a way that friends cannot be. The world we live in today exacerbates our anxiety, depression and trauma. In my work over the last 20+ years I have seen how listening and holding space for my clients has helped them heal and grow. Using a combination of therapy modalities, Cognitive, Solution Focused, and others, you and I will work in tandem to get you to where you want to be. Understanding and balance can be achieved in this constantly changing world.
