Hi, I’m Katey, a licensed therapist who understands the weight of perfectionism because I’ve been there myself. As a recovering perfectionist, I know firsthand how self-doubt, anxiety, and the relentless pursuit of “good enough” can hold someone back from true happiness. This personal journey inspired me to help preteen and teen girls, ages 10-18, who struggle with these same issues. My practice is rooted in empathy and specialized in overcoming perfectionism, anxiety, and self-esteem challenges. With a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University and certification as a Nationally Certified Counselor, I’ve spent the last two years guiding young girls towards embracing their unique strengths. I use a blend of traditional talk therapy, art therapy, and play therapy, creating a safe and empowering space for your daughter to express herself. Whether through games, creative activities, or heartfelt conversations, I aim to help your child build confidence and challenge negative self-perceptions. My ultimate goal is to support your daughter in finding comfort in who she is, so she can navigate life’s challenges with resilience. If you’re ready to see your child thrive, please reach out—I’d love to help her on this journey to self-acceptance and empowerment.
