We all experience challenges and traumatic events throughout our lives, and at times need someone to help make sense of it all. Seeking assistance is something you should certainly honor in yourself! There is no shame in wanting to process or heal from these events. One of our goals through this process is usually personal growth, but more specifically feeling empowered to finally find peace within ourselves and with our relationships with others, as well as finding our 'comfortable place' within the larger sphere of our own personal world. It does take work - but it is achievable. Navigating complex or childhood trauma can seem like an additional burden. But knowing that you have a compassionate and knowledgeable partner in your healing journey can relieve some of that additional stress, and open the door to processing and growth. Additionally, we are now offering Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for medication-resistant clients. My clinical interests include Complex/childhood Trauma, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and more., including gender identity issues, sexuality and alternative lifestyles. My interest include issues that directly affect women, minorities, and military veterans. My background in biomedical research science informs my conviction in utilizing only evidence-based techniques and approaches. I am also currently working on specialized certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Traumatic Stress Studies.
