I strive to create an inviting and safe space where you can express whatever thoughts or feelings arise during our sessions. As a Health at Every Size (HAES) and intuitive eating practitioner, I firmly believe that all bodies are awesome, and I feel privileged to walk alongside you as you reclaim your body from the grip of diet culture. In our work together, I use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and offer family support to foster healing. My goal is to instill hope and help you build a deeper understanding of yourself. I always ensure that you are in control of your sessions, deciding the pace and depth of what we discuss. I became a therapist because I believe that connection is one of the most meaningful aspects of being human. Creating connection with my clients is the most fulfilling part of my work, and I find great joy in helping others find peace within themselves. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults of all genders, particularly athletes, women, and college or high school students. My areas of expertise include eating disorders, food and body image concerns, overexercise, emotional eating, binge eating disorder, and orthorexia. I also provide support for anxiety, depression, relational trauma, and life transitions like adapting to college. If you find yourself constantly worrying about your body, food, or eating, know that this experience is more common than you think, and I’m here to help you break free from it. Together, we can shift the focus from external pressures to your inner strength, helping you find a sense of safety and peace within yourself.
