My name is Kate Galfano. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been working in the mental health field for twelve years with significant clinical experience. I gained my clinical experience at South Oaks Psychiatric Hospital and have additional school and community involvement. Life can be overwhelming, particularly with the changing times and the fast-paced culture of our society. It’s normal to feel uncertain or anxious when seeking help, but if you’re reading this you’ve already accomplished the most difficult task, which is starting. I treat each individual with a holistic perspective, taking into thoughtful consideration all aspect of your life, starting with where you are currently. I take a cognitive behavioral approach while incorporating dialectical behavioral practices. I utilize evidence-based techniques and best practice standards. Whatever you’re facing or feeling we can navigate together. I look forward to hearing from you.
