In my 16+ years as a practicing therapist, I have worked with many different people from all walks of life: from folks who were unhoused, terminally ill, substance addicted, depressed and anxious, adolescents in foster care, struggling single parents, infertile couples, trauma survivors and much more. The one constant is how I show up as a therapist. Despite your current and past challenges, despite how you identify, I promise to always be present and authentic. I will meet you where you are, and together, at the pace that feels comfortable and safe for you, work to identify your goals and how to reach them. I will be patient and kind, and ask your permission to challenge your thought patterns and identify potential habits that you may need assistance in dismantling in order to achieve your goals. Together we will work as a team, and I will look to you for guidance in the pacing and paths we travel, while I provide a safe and steady space for you to become your best self. I am a maternal mental health expert with a specialty in perinatal mental health, re-parenting, infant and early childhood mental health, trauma and dyadic work with parents and young children. The transition to parenthood is arguably one of the most life changing experiences one will ever have. I will support you in reflecting on your challenges, celebrating your successes, harnessing your strengths and working towards your goals to bring you more happiness. I'm currently only providing psychotherapy through virtual secure HIPPA compliant video conferencing.
