Introduction

WORKING TOGETHER My priority as a therapist is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to be heard, understood, and accepted. As a social worker therapist, I am especially interested in supporting clients through their process of knowing themselves within their unique familial, cultural, and systemic contexts. I specialize in healing trauma through connection and belonging. I frequently work with people who are navigating systemic barriers, adjusting to new and uncertain chapters in life, and seeking to feel their feelings without being consumed or overwhelmed by them. My therapeutic approach is informed by psychodynamic, relational, strengths-based, somatic, and trauma-informed modalities including DBT. I enjoy the process of learning and growing alongside my clients. ABOUT ME I am a White, multicultural (proficient in Spanish), queer, cis woman in an interracial relationship. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and currently work as a staff clinician at Tuttleman Counseling Services for Temple University students pursuing graduate studies in the Health Sciences (i.e. Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.). I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Haverford College and her Master of Social Services from Bryn Mawr College. I have a background in higher education and nonprofit leadership, and over 5 years of experience providing therapy and other support services to students and young adults in outpatient, community mental health, peer support, and career counseling settings.
