Introduction

Hi, my name is Karina Venegas Moreno and I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been in the social work field for five years. I have worked in different settings like outpatient mental health clinics, county jail, and a health clinic so I have worked with people from all walks of life. I specialize in working with adults with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, substance use issues, stress, and those who are having difficulty adjusting to changes in their life. I aim to provide a client-centered, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and individualized, integrating components from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused therapy. I am a Christian, so I also utilize faith in conjunction with evidence based practices during therapy if desired.
