I work with clients experiencing difficulty with a variety of life challenges and transitions. You may feel there's a better version of yourself out there and desire change but are not quite sure how to get there and what it might look like! Through our work together, I will strive to help you strengthen and trust your own sense of self in a way that feels safe, empowering and hopeful about your ability to thrive in the future. My specialty includes helping those who struggle in their relationship with food/eating and body image. Working collaboratively, we look at established patterns of behavior and consider how to implement alternative ways of being. I can also provide guidance on how to best support a loved one struggling with an eating disorder. In addition, I specialize in helping clients better manage feelings of anxiety. This may include diverse issues such as grief/loss, trauma, career changes, divorce/separation, or a new medical diagnosis. I can help clients find ways to maintain healthy boundaries in relationships with others and even within oneself. When we begin working together, we discuss your goals and collaborate on a plan of action. My approach is tailored to each of my client's specific needs. Together, we look at what may be contributing to your thoughts and feelings around the need for change. I will help you identify realistic and concrete steps towards living a life that is consistent with your values. I will aim to meet your readiness for exploration at every step of the way.
