Karen Poyser-Navratil is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida, North Carolina and Georgia. She obtained her PhD in Mind Body Medicine with a specialization in Integrative Mental Health from Saybrook University. Karen has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. She received her certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and received her certification as an Integrative Wellness Coach from Saybrook University. Karen has 17 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings including crisis intervention, outpatient programs, as well as medical social work. She is the founder and primary therapist of The Integrative Healing Space. Her private practice is centered on helping women of color who struggle with inner child wounding and trauma, inadequate boundaries and poor self-image that have led to Depression and Anxiety. Karen is a faith based Integrative therapist who primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and biblical principles. In addition, she incorporates holistic modalities such as meditation and breath work to further support clients in their journey to feeling happier, whole and empowered.
